Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, parts, and control panels. Your extensive knowledge of electrical components and adherence to electrical safety codes and regulations will be crucial. This role requires both technical proficiency and mechanical skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial machines and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair extruders, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Perform conduit bending and threading of pipes.

• Work with 480v electrical systems.

• Understand and make decisions based on technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, or instructions.

• Operate tools in close proximity to electrical components.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.

• 2+ years of experience repairing industrial machines.

• 2+ years of experience working with 480v electrical systems.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time.

• Professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong decision-making skills based on technical documents.

• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair.

Work Environment

This position is on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm, switching monthly. The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, within a large manufacturing facility employing 500 people. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and modern workplace, always investing in new equipment to ensure the best working conditions for our team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
