Job Title: Welder

Shift and Pay

2nd shift - 3:40pm - 12:00am Monday - Friday

OR

3rd shift - 11:30pm - 8:00am Sunday - Thursday

$28.99/hr + shift differential of $1..11 for 3rd shift, $2/hr for 2nd shift

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and interpret welding requirements.

  • Weld large parts for the Nuclear industry and military submarines.

  • Assist with fabrication and layout of parts.

  • Ensure welds are X-ray tested and qualified by Certified Welding Inspectors.

  • Perform welding in various disciplines (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, Pulsed).

  • Complete significant documentation required for the welding process.

  • Adhere to testing expectations such as VT, MT, RT, and UT.

  • Grind, fit, and finish polishing parts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64459.20 - $64549.20/yr.

Extremely generous Benefits package with great health care discussed at interview. Typically option for $1000 or $2500 deductible and pay about $40/pay for the coverage.

PTO - After 700 hours - 1 week, After 1 year - 2 weeks

Benefits: Medical/Vision coverage, effective 30 days of employment Dental/Life coverage, effective 90 days of employment Long-term Disability coverage, effective 1-year employment

Holidays: 11 holidays, and you will eligible for holiday after you are employed for 30 calendar days.

Paid Excused Absence: You will be eligible for 8 hours of paid excused absence after 90 days of employment. This amount will then increase to 16 hours at the beginning of the year following your start date. Then up to 24 hours the following year and ever year after that.

Pension: Administered by Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)

This is a fully onsite position in York,PA.
