DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY We consider our Warehouse Associates to be a vital cornerstone of our success. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Full Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Harrisburg, PA Distribution HUB.    Why You Will Love Working For a Matthews International:  * Starting Competitive starting hourly rate of $19 - hourly with opportunities for pay increases.  * Consistent first shift schedule, 6am - 2:30pm, home early afternoons.  * Eligible for full benefits from day one.   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  * You will be loading and unloading caskets and other memorialization products from our various production facilities.  * Preparing products for delivery and unloading products to be stored in our warehouse.  * Scanning products, pulling correct orders and maintaining a clean work environment.  * Additional duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS  * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.  * 1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  * Ability to work 8 hour shifts being on your feet, walking, pushing, pulling products.  * Reliable transportation to get to and from work every day.  * Ability to work overtime when needed.   PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT * Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see. * Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. * The noise level in the work environment may be high. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.    Matthews International affords equal employment opportunities to employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, age, disability or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
