Aerotek Maintenance Manager - 1st Shift in York, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Description

As an experienced Maintenance Manager, you will be a leading member of our team, coordinating activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. Your supervisory responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. You will also play a critical role in ensuring adherence to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. You will direct workers engaged in machine repair, electrical, and mechanical work, maintain proper preventative programs, and be responsible for training all maintenance personnel. You will be expected to maintain time and production records, confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments, and perform activities of workers supervised. The role involves being responsible for all three shifts, primarily working the day shift but also being on call for safety emergencies and working off shifts for projects or training as needed.

Work Environment

Our manufacturing environment involves working in a large facility with over 230+ employees across three shifts. You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will be overseeing a maintenance team of 12+ technicians.
