About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and physically capable Direct Care Worker to provide care for an elderly individual. The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive, and able to assist with a variety of daily needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Provide light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up
• Support mobility and engage in physical activities as needed
• Accompany and transport the individual to appointments, errands, and outings
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle preferred
• Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
