Position Summary:

This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and auditable operation of our cleaning line and 56 line processes. The Process Line Technician maintains, cleans, organizes, and improves the area and equipment which they utilize to clean and rust proof aerospace parts IAW internal and customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Use and maintenance of Aqueous cleaning line to ensure compliance with product cleanliness requirements.
• Use and maintenance of 56 rust prevention line to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
• Manages schedule of chemical line processing in collaboration with area leads.
• Maintains records keeping IAW process documentation requirements.
• Collaborates with engineering for routing accuracy.
• Collaborates with engineering for workholding requirements.
• Collaborates with maintenance for process line upkeep and improvements.
• Interpret part drawings and process instructions.
• Maintains product conformance through assessment and application of various production procedures and practices.
• Recognize and understand nonconformance, work with engineering and quality dept to resolve issues.
• Record information or data describing work performed or defects found.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including required PPE.
• Work overtime as required (mandatory at times) by the business.
• Maintain established standards of quality, productivity & attendance.
• Able to work in a high-volume production environment.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications / Education /Experience:

• High School degree or GED Certificate
• Equivalent experience minimum 5 years on the job training.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Familiar with Mil specifications in the aerospace industry preferred
• Familiar with ISO 9000 requirements preferred
• Chemical processing experience preferred
• Ability to balance changing priorities or tasks.
• Driven and self-motivated, effective verbal and written communicator
• Flexible/adaptable in a changing environment
• Ability to take constructive feedback on opportunities.
• Displays good judgement - quality & safety.
• Ability to learn and apply new skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
