A client of Innova Solutions is hiring a Finance SAP Project User Position type: Full time - Contract Duration: 12+ Months Location: Woodcliff Lake, NJ As a Finance SAP Project User, you will: * Collaborate with the finance team and subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements and ensure the SAP system is configured to meet those needs. * Participate in the design and implementation of new SAP financial features or modules. * Provide support to other finance users on the effective use of SAP for financial management. * Identify and report any issues or errors within the SAP financial modules, and work with the Project team to resolve them. * Assist in the implementation and rollout of new SAP financial features or modules. * Serve as a point of contact for finance-related SAP inquiries and support. * Execute comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality of SAP financial modules, configurations, and integrations. * Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing on SAP financial systems. * Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing, and work with the IT and development teams to resolve them. * Serve as a liaison between the subject matter experts and the IT department, effectively communicating testing results and requirements. * Support on developing training materials and sessions to finance end-users on the proper use of SAP financial modules. The ideal candidate will have: * Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT. * 3-5 years of experience in project management or business analysis role. * Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in using SAP financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset management. * Familiarity with SAP reporting and business intelligence tools. * Experience in providing end-user training and support is preferred. * Project management experience. * Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
