Aston Carter Talent Acquisition Specialist in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

Recruiter (Full Cycle Recruitment):

Aston Carter is seeking an experienced Recruiter to oversee the entire recruitment process, from identifying potential candidates to evaluating and interviewing them. As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing talent, updating job advertisements, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Hiring Stages Management:

  • Oversee all stages of hiring, from sourcing candidates to extending offers.

  • Advertise open roles across various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and our careers page.

  • Internal Hiring Coordination:

  • Coordinate internal hiring processes within the organization.

  • Screen resumes based on essential criteria and administer pre-hire assessments.

  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  • Make recommendations to hiring managers.

  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

  • Follow up on interview process status.

  • Legal Compliance and Relationship Building:

  • Stay informed about the company’s structure, personnel policies, and employment laws.

  • Serve as a liaison with employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.

  • Candidate Interaction:

  • Interview candidates via phone, video, and in-person.

  • Reach out to potential candidates, building relationships for future opportunities.

  • Send job offer letters and negotiate terms.

  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting experience (minimum 2 years).

  • Proficiency with Human Resources Management Software and Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably iCIMS).

  • Familiarity with social networks for posting job ads and sourcing candidates, especially LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Knowledge of labor legislation.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong time management abilities to handle multiple open positions.

Top Skills' Details/Must Haves:

  1. At least 2 plus years of recruiting experience for professional office-based roles (Insurance industry experience highly desired - Claims, Underwriters, etc.).

  2. Experience with Human Resources Management Software and Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably iCIMS.

  3. Familiarity with using social networks to post job ads and source candidates (LinkedIn Recruiter).
