Job Title : Jr. Buyer

Job Description:

• Assist buyers and managers with writing purchase orders, buying merchandise, and managing inventory

• Analyze supplier and retail data to assist buyers in decision making on cost and sell

• Research suppliers to determine which ones fit company pricing and quality objectives

• Advise retail outlets how to price products based on purchase price and market trends

• Review purchase orders, conferring with other departments to verify orders, contacting vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliers

• Help with various purchasing procedures, inventories, accounts, proposals and similar preparations

• Determine purchasing needs, analyzing quotes and bids for suitability, cost and product availability

• Evaluate samples, products and services

• Recommend and initiating purchase of materials, supplies and services

• An in store training will occur for a period of time. Time frame may vary by department

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office

Base Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00/per year
