Document risk model development to standards consistent with regulatory expectation. Validate suitability of models for business purpose and according to internally developed standards. Create and maintain policies and procedures for model development and maintenance. Create a number of backtesting methodologies to ensure models are producing expected results. Partner with units such as treasury, trading and client-facing functions to better understand the instruments and associated risks in their businesses. Work closely with units such as IT to improve data gathering and modeling. Apply a solid understanding of financial markets and economics to test variables and scenarios and to model risk by taking into account various types of risk, correlation between risks and idiosyncratic risk. Requirements:Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Finance, Economics or Statistics, plus 2 years of experience in the position offered or as Associate or Analyst in bank or financial services firm.**All required experience must have included performing financial analyses to enhance model risk management framework and ensure the continuous improvement of model quality and governance; implementing model replication and tests in Azure cloud platform; applying knowledge of model risk governance framework and SR 11-7; developing, enhancing and maintaining expected loss models and their various components including PD, LGD, EAD and ECL under the CCAR, CECL and IFRS9 frameworks; programming in Python and R; and integrating and presenting model inventory using data visualization tools including Power BI. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our White Plains, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI

Minimum Salary: 122.000 Maximum Salary: 128,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
