Employment Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people with barriers to employment in achieving their individual vocational objectives and establishing self-sufficiency in the community. Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to transport program participants to and from Picatinny Arsenal safely and efficiently. This part-time role is critical to supporting our mission by ensuring participants have dependable transportation and maintaining a positive, respectful environment during transit. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM. Key Responsibilities:Transport program participants to and from Picatinny Arsenal in a safe and courteous manner.Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and submit weekly travel logs to the Accounting Department.Read maps and follow written directions to locate participant residences.Keep an organized folder with emergency contact information for all participants.Ensure compliance with personnel and conduct policies during transport.Conduct thorough pre-operation vehicle inspections and complete weekly reports.Report any vehicle concerns promptly to the Director of Commercial Services. Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with individuals with disabilities. Physical Demands & Work Environment:Work is primarily conducted outdoors and in the vehicle, with early morning hours and exposure to all weather conditions. Required to stand, walk, bend, and sit; talk or hear in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is generally low to moderate; however, there are occasional loud sounds.
