Job Title: Chemical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Chemical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be conducting research, development, and quality control by preparing solutions, compounds, and reagents to perform analytical tests to determine chemical properties in an industrial manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will also include product development, reverse engineering, some floor work, and customer interaction. We require a self-starter and a team player with superior communication skills and a solid understanding of organic and inorganic chemistry, fluorescent materials, polymerization, and solvents.

Hard Skills

• General chemistry and setting up of experiments

• Common characterization methods

• Operation of laboratory equipment: pH meter, and automatic titrator

• 1-3 years in a lab/industrial setting

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Team player

• Self-starter

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Westbury, New York.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based out of our lab in Westbury and our main office in Farmingdale. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Occasionally, it may be required to work additional hours beyond the 40-hour week, including Saturdays.
