Job Title: Pressing Machine Operator

Job Description

The pressing machine operator will be working in the Production/Pressing Department.

This is a dynamic role where operators load and unload molds into pressing machines and enter production data into the computer system prior to a production run.

The operators are provided with a 'mix sheet' each day that details the tasks for the shift.

This is a faster-paced job that requires working in teams of 3-4 people covering 2 press machines.

The first 90 days on the job will consist of hands-on training with an experienced operator

Work Environment

The work shifts available are: 1st shift: 7A-3P M-F or a 1st shift weekend 7A-7P, 2nd shift : 3P-11P M-F or weekend 7A-7P or 7P-7A, 3rd shift: M-F 11P-7A or weekend shift 7P-7A. The schedule rotates on a 12 week cycle. The starting pay is $24.56 per hou r, with potential to increase to $30/hr by end of year 2 through skill tests. Dress code is casual but long pants and t-shirt are preferred. Be aware that certain areas can be up to 110 degrees in the summer and some areas of the building are dirtier than others.
