Our client, a Global leader in Content & News Distribution, is looking to engage an experience Business Analyst to support an initiative involving the gathering, updating and documenting of Cybersecurity policies and related processes.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50 - $55 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
The BA will work closely with stakeholders across business units, Legal and Compliance, IT teams, and other functions to facilitate process standardization and other materials as needed to ensure compliance with NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, and SOX regulatory frameworks.
Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure cyber documentation needs conform with company standards and applicable frameworks.
Organize, manage, and report regular updates to cyber policies, processes, and procedures using knowledge and information management (KM/IM) practices.
Conduct doctrinal gap analyses in support of Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and company policy updates.
Primary subject matter expert and resource for identifying issues and facilitating solutions related to formal cybersecurity practices.
Experience Requirements:
3-7 years as a Business Analyst in IT or Cyber programs.
Experience in enterprise-wide technology implementations.
Background in security, compliance, or risk management projects is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Expertise in technical writing using Google Workspace platform.
Ability to translate technical concepts into multiple, readable formats.
Experience with conducting policy, process, and procedural revisions.
Strong knowledge of IT and cybersecurity principles and concepts.
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Lucidchart
Understanding of workflow management and business process optimization.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving.
Experience as a KM/IM or Intranet administrator is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally (Security, IT, Compliance, HR, etc.).
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Adaptability to changing business and technology landscapes.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
