CHBWV is seeking qualified candidates with experience in employee relations focusing on investigating workplace/compliance issues, resolving conflict, and seeking workable solutions. Experience handling routine labor relations inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements a plus. The successful candidate must possess the ability to coach/advise employees and management through sensitive HR/Labor issues and prepare summary reports, conclusions, and recommendations. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting day-to-day HR operations and the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs; departmental/employee development, human resource information systems, training and development, benefits, compensation, and related areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration, Industrial and Labor Relations or related discipline, or recognized demonstrated equivalent. Three (3) plus years of related professional experience or the equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience conducting workplace investigations.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a Union environment a plus. SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR

Essential Functions Must have thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations and understanding of general human resources policies and procedures to successfully complete moderately difficult work assignments to meet specific objectives. General knowledge of Department of Energy directives and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Must possess standard knowledge of compensation, employment and benefit programs, theories, concepts, techniques, procedures, and practices to successfully complete moderately difficult work assignments.
