Job Description
Are you an experienced Administrative Professional seeking a new opportunity Do you enjoy working on a variety of assignments and projects within a collaborative environment Join our team in the delivery of advanced technology to the nuclear navy. This position will report to the subdivision manager at our Pittsburgh R&D laboratory (Bettis Laboratory) in support of the Future Developoment Programs - Program Office. Work covers the Navy's next fast attack submarine design (SSNX), as well as support of our international programs with the UK and Australia. A successful candidate will lead the team in execution of clerical and administrative work seeking ways to drive efficiency in the office. This work will include letter support, management of supplies, travel, records and budgets, and tracking of activities.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Pay Range $50,100 - $75,200 annually Note the salary information provided above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.
