Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications using  C#, .Net, VB.NET, React JS, Jquery, ASP.NET MVC, Ajax, HTML, Java, Javascript, VB Script, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Agile development methodologies; use GitHub and TFS for version control; use .Net Framework Core; develop software in MS SQL and NoSQL databases; work with Web API, WCF, ADO.NET, MSMQ, REST web services, and SOAP web services; use IIS Express and Microsoft IIS application servers; use UML, MS Visio, LucidCharts, and Draw.IO; perform CI/CD; implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe); support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers. Position is eligible for 40% remote work.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and five (5) years of experience developing software using C#, .Net, React JS, ASP.NET MVC, Javascript, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and Agile development methodologies; of which three (3) years include using GitHub and TFS for version control; using .Net Framework Core; developing software in MS SQL and NoSQL databases; working with Web API, WCF, ADO.NET, and REST web services; and of which one (1) year includes using IIS Express and Microsoft IIS application servers; using Jquery, UML, MS Visio, and Draw.IO; performing CI/CD; and implementing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).*
