Job Title: Business Development ManagerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with over 6 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the construction industry. This role requires strong outbound sales experience and a passion for client development. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping establish our presence in Philadelphia, attending networking events, and tracking bids and RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Attend networking events to promote the company and establish connections.

• Track and manage bids and RFPs to ensure timely submission.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years of experience in business development or sales.

• Proven outbound sales experience.

• Strong client development skills.

• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in account management, construction management, engineering, sales management, and project management.

• Familiarity with commercial construction projects.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The role involves a mix of office and field work, including client visits. There is flexibility to work remotely at times, given the nature of the role. The position offers a profit-sharing option after one year, with payouts starting in year three. Employees enjoy 2-3 weeks of PTO, 6 holidays, and mileage reimbursement for travel to projects. Our corporation is known for its diverse project load, including significant projects at Penn State campuses, Villanova, and in the healthcare sector in Pittsburgh. We have a strong presence in senior living and higher education projects and are building a presence in Philadelphia with full support from our Pittsburgh office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $62.50/hr.
