DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Equipment Operator A, you will be responsible for operating equipment with a gross vehicle weight of up to 32,000 pounds. You will drive vans, buses, and other vehicles to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of our consumers, staff, equipment, and supplies on and off campus. You will also operate construction equipment such as tractors, dump trucks, skid loaders, and snow plows, as well as perform general maintenance and cleaning to equipment when necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, working every 3rd or 4th weekend, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime: As needed and subject to emergency call-in May change based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

You must be in possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.

Condition of Employment:

This position requires the selected candidate to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within the probationary period.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
