Utilize your experience and training in clinical services to become the Chief of Clinical Services for Wernersville State Hospital! As a leader in the hospital, you will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all clinical services including psychiatric, medical, and appropriate ancillary services. As the Chief of Clinical Services, you will serve as the chief administrator for all clinical services including psychiatric and physical health services. You can expect to provide executive leadership and oversight for all clinical services and assure all applicable certification standards are met. In this position, you will participate in the administrator-on-call rotations for one-week periods and respond as needed to administrative issues. You will also develop, administer, and assure compliance with policies and procedures related to all areas of patient care and affective clinical service personnel. Additionally, you will co-chair the Positive Practices Committee which meets every month to address quality of clinical services, treatment planning, and challenging clinical issues.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may have to work overtime as needed. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in the administration of a major clinical services program in the psychiatric or medical care and treatment of individuals with mental illness, in a psychiatric hospital, community psychiatric program, forensic treatment center or similar setting; and certification in psychiatry or other recognized medical specialty by the American Medical Board or American Osteopathic Board; or Three years of experience in the supervision of licensed physicians in a major clinical services program in the psychiatric or medical care and treatment of individuals with mental illness, in a psychiatric hospital, community psychiatric program, forensic treatment center or similar setting; and certification in psychiatry or other recognized medical specialty by the American Medical Board or American Osteopathic Board.

Special Requirements: All positions require possession of a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania issued by the State Board of Medicine or the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
