*POSITION TITLE: *Credit Administration Manager (Full-time with benefits)
*DEPARTMENT OR BRANCH LOCATION: * Wellsboro Operations Center
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee commercial loan documentation and work to develop procedures to ensure all documentation and approval requirements are completed prior to loan funding. Review commercial appraisals and ensure the property conforms to the bank's collateral guidelines. Is responsible for maintaining up-to-date reporting on credit files including current financial statements, covenant compliance, collateral inspections and periodic appraisals. Monitor loan collateral and ensure that the bank's interest is properly protected.
- Oversee all credit and loan administration processes and activities ensuring quality and efficiency of operations. Review existing loan policies to ensure policies are updated to protect the bank. Ensure that loan proposals adhere to existing policies and guidelines.
- Produce critical reports used to monitor individual loan and portfolio performance including portfolio mix, covenant monitoring, exception monitoring, and concentration reports.
- Oversee construction loan advances, ensuring that the bank has a priority lien position and that advances adhere to approved loan terms and budgets.
- Provide significant support to Deputy Chief Credit Officer, Chief Credit Officer, Chief Lending Officer and Lending Teams assisting with structuring complex loans, answering credit policy questions, and monitoring existing loans.
- Develop and maintain a personal program for maintaining an adequate level of knowledge in banking, management, and demonstrate personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication and initiative with customers and employees to ensure an acceptable degree of performance.
*JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: *
- Seasoned commercial credit administrator with a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible commercial lending and credit administration experience.
- Highly knowledgeable of lending laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Significant experience in analyzing and monitoring credit risk and related trends at both the loan and portfolio levels. Ability to quickly recognize problems and drive corrective actions.
- Proven ability to effectively monitor and manage loan portfolios, improving credit quality and overall performance.
- Experience presenting to and serving on various Loan Committees.
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable making presentations in all settings.
- Proven track record of establishing, developing, and leading highly effective teams.
- Ability to develop talent and expand the capabilities of individuals and teams through organizational changes, developmental assignments and targeted development plans.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence and achieving quality results in a timely manner.
- A four-year degree in business, finance or accounting from a recognized College or University. MBA or equivalent experience a plus. (preferred)
- Familiar with bank audit policies and procedures. (preferred)
