Support the business in remaining compliant within the regulatory environment and managing their risk. Work on the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of compliance and operational risk as it pertains to the Compliance and Operational Risk Control Investment Bank business. Provide proactive and constructive feedback to department risk management, encouraging best practices and striving for consistency. Participate in reviewing new business initiatives and transactions requiring pre-approval. Ensure risk frameworks are designed well and operating effectively. Deliver independent risk assessment and reports that shed light on the company’s risk profile. Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure that best practices are being shared worldwide. Provide business management with controls, tools, training, frameworks, information, and insights for them to manage risk. Work with financial services compliance or risk assessment and analysis of business processes.Requirements: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience with financial services compliance or risk assessment; and/or, analysis of business processes. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience.
