6 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 05/12/2025 - 11/16/2025.

Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time to time. Following supervisors instruction, workers will harvest, load, grade, and pack various types of vegetables. The worker will require use of hand tools such as shears and knives. This work can require standing, walking, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds for long periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions. It also includes making important decisions based on size, coloring and ripeness according to prescribed standards.

Squash Planting: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and place seeds in hole then cover hole with dirt. Squash Harvest: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and pick proper size, shape and color of squash, place into bucket. When full, take to designated area. Cucumber Planting: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and place baby plant and seeds in hole then cover hole with dirt. Cucumber Harvest: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row grasping, twisting then removing cucumber from plant by snapping stem. Place cucumber into bucket, exercising care to avoid damage to vines and cucumber. Dump full buckets onto the conveyor as instructed. Asparagus Planting: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and place baby plants in hole then cover hole with dirt. Asparagus Harvesting: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and pick proper size, shape and color of asparagus, place into bucket. When full, take to designated area. Pumpkin Planting: As instructed, worker will move down assigned row and place baby plant and seeds in hole then cover hole with dirt. Pumpkin Harvest: As instructed, worker will use a harvesting knife, cut and gather pumpkins and place in the bin. Peach Harvesting: Following the supervisors instructions, the worker will prune and thin peach trees when necessary to ensure proper growth of fruit. When ripe, workers will remove mature fruit from the trees and place in a plastic container suspended by a harness worn by the worker. When full, worker will carry container to designated area, unhook full container, receive empty container and repeat the process.

Apple Harvesting: Quality is essential to the apple harvest. Many different varieties of apples will be picked according to established company procedures based on the end use (spot picking for fresh, small percentage of culls for processing.) To ensure quality, workers must be able to differentiate between colors accurately in order to perform color-specific picking. Workers must be able to carry up to 60 pounds. Pear Harvesting: Following the supervisors instructions, the worker will prune and thin pear trees when necessary to ensure proper growth of fruit. When ripe, workers will remove fruit from the trees and place in a plastic container suspended by a harness worn by the worker. When full, worker will carry container to designated area, unhook full container, receive empty container and repeat the process.

Apple/Peach/Pear Tree Thinning: Thinning is a manual process used as part of orchard maintenance to control the size and quality of grown fruit. All workers will be provided appropriate training by supervisors to ensure proper techniques for thinning are utilized. Workers must have the ability to pick up, use and safety handle a 16-foot orchard ladder weighing approximately 40 pounds to perform thinning tasks.
