Description We are looking for a VP Technology to join our team in the banking sector in Wayne, Pennsylvania. This role involves leading our top-tier development team, driving technical strategy, and ensuring our technology stack continually meets and exceeds industry standards. You will collaborate with business teams to identify and implement ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Define the development stack, technical roadmap and IT framework in collaboration with the existing team.

• Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing development team.

• Foster a high-performance, innovative, collaborative, continuous learning and improving technology culture.

• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures.

• Manage relationships with partners and vendors.

• Establish goals for performance and growth.

• Oversee IT budgets to ensure there are no unnecessary expenditures.

• Develop and direct safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches, fraud and compliance.

• Evaluate new technology and make recommendations on technological solutions.

• Lead and nurture our highly skilled tech team, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.

• Drive the design and delivery of state-of-the-art FinTech solutions to address the needs of our clients and market trends.

• Establish security protocols and risk management strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our platform and data.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of applications using the .NET framework.

• Advocate for practices that minimize code deployment times while maintaining quality.

• Integrate .NET applications with cloud-based services and platforms.

• Define the problem, vision and solution for the business and cultural change required to drive technology transformation, and introduce new processes and procedures to ensure technology change is achieved.

• Lead and influence technology strategy and design in an outsource environment.

• Combine people skills with technological wisdom and a greater business understanding.

• Solid architectural experience and extensive experience of working with complex APIs.

• Strong experience of leading teams in an agile environment.

• Experience in critically reviewing high-level business requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in a leadership role within the banking industry

• Extensive knowledge and skills in Cisco Technologies

• Proficient in Cloud Technologies and their application in the banking sector

• Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Understanding of Database systems and their role in banking operations

• Familiarity with Electro-optical/Infrared (EO/IR) systems

• Proven track record in Auditing within the banking industry

• Experience in managing Computer Hardware in a banking environment

• Demonstrated ability in Contracts negotiation and management

• Experience in managing Deployments within the banking sector

• Strong skills in Design and Software Development

• Proficiency in Backend Development within a banking context

• Strong communication and team management skills

• Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
