Position Summary
This position includes processing timesheets, updating, and entering payroll data, answering employee questions via ticketing system or phone, and making sure that all employee records are correct and that they are paid accurately and timely.
This role is required to be present in the Teleflex, Wayne, PA office a minimum of 3 days per week on our core office days of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Principal Responsibilities
Process Weekly, Biweekly, and Monthly payrolls
Check/Audit payroll information for accuracy.
Coordinate with Human Resources about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new/rehires)
Entering employee information in our SAP (ECP) payroll system.
Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks.
Review/adjust timesheets via WorkForce System & processing timesheets upload weekly.
Process garnishments including child support, and state levies etc…
Oversee weekly check requests for garnishments and setting up new vendors.
Work with external vendors and internal departments
Process other compensations such as bonuses, severance, and commissions
Generate reports as needed.
Work as a liaison between other departments and locations in resolution of payroll related changes.
Must have the ability to maintain confidential information.
Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex's Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred or combination of equivalent work experience and education considered.
2+ years’ experience with payroll processes
Experience with SAP Payroll/Employee Central Payroll (ECP) preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Visio - with a willingness to learn and master other software programs as needed. Intermediate Excel and Math skills required.
