TITLE: Occupational Therapist LOCATION: Jefferson County Region Component Districts in Jefferson County RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from service Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning. Record and report student progress. Collaborate with colleagues in general education. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents. QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist Knowledge of the AOTA Standards and Practices Knowledge of school-based therapy Experience with diagnostic tools Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Excellent written and oral communication skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $54,155-56,355 annual salary commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
