The US Innovation Customer Strategy Manger will help forge a new way of engaging across the organization and with our retail partners! As the primary liaison to the commercial customer strategy & marketing teams, the US Innovation Customer Strategy manager supports early innovation development and engages with our customer teams to help validate innovation with the consumer and shopper in mind. In collaboration, the role provides direction in early planning for go-to-market assumptions and strategies, while maintaining strong relationships with our Customer Teams in order to successfully partner and present to key retailers during annual innovation meetings and JBP sessions.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, consumer and shopper across select categories for US Innovation project teams and initiatives

  • Provide customer/ channel strategies, insights, guidance and requirements for select category initiatives throughout early product development stages.

  • Support innovation-focused, key Customer engagements (annual Innovation meetings, and any follow ups)

  • Mine and socialize key customer trends and shifts to inform innovation activities. Link with Customer Strategy and Category Insights/Management/Development

  • Develop sell-in story outline for new product launches in select categories

  • Transition Innovation projects to Commercial Customer Strategy prior to Go-To-Market activities & line review conversations

  • Work in tandem with and report to the US Innovation Customer Strategy Lead

Why you?Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 5+ years Sales / Sales Strategy experience

  • New product commercialization and retailer engagement experience

  • Understand the retail environment and has experience in interacting with the customers

  • Brand building experience in a fast-moving consumer goods industry

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA

  • Sales / Sales Strategy experience in CPG industry

The salary range for this role is $131,166 - $180,353 USD + bonus
