At our Fortune 1000 diversified energy company, you’ll find a friendly, community-minded environment, with flexible work schedules, opportunities for growth and development, and competitive pay and benefits.Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking an Account Specialist to provide support for our residential solar program by processing (newly-signed leases, managing channel partner progress payments, invoice processing, providing first-level customer support, and maintaining positive channel partner relationships.Major Responsibilities:• Manage the process of transitioning customers from construction phase to operation phase:• Research first-level customer inquiries, including lease program questions, billing/payment inquiries, suspected system performance issues, first level collections issues, home sales/refinancing, Enlighten software and potential equipment damage• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues• Coordinate repair orders with asset management staff; follow up with customers on outstanding issues• Be the primary liaison to assigned channel partners and their support staff; provide guidance and support for all residential solar projects through all phases of each project• Review all signed customer leases to ensure completeness, prepare documents for internal signature, and ensure all required and executed lease documents are uploaded into SAMS (Sunlight Advantage Management System); record solar easement with the appropriate county clerk• Review, prepare and approve channel partner and material provider invoices• Manage and record in detail all customer interactions using CEV’s customized databases• Ensure all transactions are complete, accurate and comply with procedures• Ensure the accuracy and detail of all project filesPosition Requirements:• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred• At least two years of work experience in a customer service position• Excellent customer interaction skills, with ability to work with contractors providing oversight and proof of work• Strong attention to detail and computer skills, including MS Office, use of internet as well as other database driven software• Experience in the solar and/or renewable industry preferred*This job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary.We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
