NJR Service Corporation Robotic Process Automation Technical Lead in Wall, New Jersey

Responsibilities: Oversee the development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer(s) and technical application requirements of the Automation Anywhere A360 platform, inclusive of the necessary NJR network and infrastructure requirements. Work with business process owners to determine the appropriate technical design approach for new and existing bots under consideration by the NJR RPA team. Provide oversight of RPA Business Analysts’ design approach to ensure applicable design documentation meets NJR standards and results in efficient robotic process automated solutions that drive operational efficiencies. Provide an advanced level of expertise in the use of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology for software applications (including Automation Anywhere A360 (preferred) and MicroSoft Power Platform) and associated methodologies to support the business in automating manual processes with high automation potential. Work with business process owners and users to make initial use case automation assessment prior to in-depth analysis and documentation of applicable business practices and processes. Responsible for quality assurance reviews of designs, development, and user acceptance testing for RPA Team members. Partner with business unit contacts and team members to gather requirements for RPA opportunities, including creating and maintaining detailed business process, designs, and solution documentation. Create and provide review comments for process flow, process maps, and other documentation as required to complete automation assessments, and design and develop proposed solutions with error handling and recovery strategies. Oversee and lead the review, repair, and modification of RPA solutions to ensure technical accuracy, security compliance, and reliability of bots for other RPA developer(s), and configure commands and write script to execute robotic tasks or processes as specified in requirements and design documents. Review incremental progress with a process subject matter expert to validate functionality, applying application modelling skills and knowledge of recording mechanisms such as object cloning, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and image recognition modes. Requirements: Master’s degree Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience process automation*. Experience must include three years each of the following: Automation Anywhere; programming concepts, requirements gathering, process design and development lifecycle; business analysis, process improvement, or value stream mapping; and experience in an Agile project environment. Experience may be gained concurrently. *In the alternative employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and five years of experience in the job offered or five years process automation.
