POSITION OVERVIEW:The Shop Receiving / Warehouse Worker is responsible for warehouse/yard organization and upkeep, equipment and material in-flows and out-flows. They ensure a smooth and efficient operational flow of materials and equipment. They utilize company’s computer system to accurately receive materials and equipment and verify to Purchase Order system.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receive and label material deliveries. Stage in appropriate areasMaintain the cleanliness of warehouse, yard and building groundsPick up parts and equipment from suppliers & deliver parts to jobs as necessaryMobilize equipment and materials for scheduled jobsAbility to drive truck and trailers to off-site locationsAccurately confirm materials and equipment to Purchase Orders and WorkordersPerforms additional duties and responsibilities to help facilitate company operationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:General Computer skills and experienceValid driver's license and clean driving recordAble to lift 50+ poundsPreferred QualificationsForklift experienceExperience using a Shipping/Receiving softwareBasic tool and equipment knowledge, use and skillsGeneral mechanical abilitiesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentVerbal & written communication skillsAttention to detail and organizationG.E.
