Primo Brands is a fast-growing consumer products company that is seeking experienced sales associates who can promote and secure business relationships with retail and commercial establishments for a variety of water solutions for consumers. This position primary focus is to drive organic Refill growth within the independent grocery and c-store channel, with complimentary offerings and upsell opportunities of additional lines of business

Responsibilities

Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It):

  • Develop, present, and negotiate new water Refill vending placement opportunities while upselling the full product portfolio of products including, dispensers, 5-gallon bulk water, and case pack products. Responsibilities includemerchandising solutions for accounts, ensuring standards of brand, profitability, and account guardrails are achieved in the assigned geographic area.

  • Manage a book of business in the assigned territory to upselling and expand current offers.

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call-on prospective customers; solicit the distribution of products and placement of Primo equipment at their establishments.

  • Compiles a list of prospective customers from various sources, including the company’s electronic data, sales leads, conquest opportunities, etc. to establish new business and revenue growth.

  • Required to cold call on new ”Independent” store owners, retail store managers to established agreements, and potentially commercial decision makers

  • Negotiates pricing and refill vending commission schedules for new and existing business, prepares agreements and authorization that are in the best interest of and approved by the company.

  • Works with operational stakeholders and deployment teams to ensure timely product delivery and equipment installations.

  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze and maintain high ROI of assigned customer base.

  • Supports accounts payable and account receivable departments.

  • Utilization of Salesforce CRM to capture activities, leads, and opportunities to maintain a robust pipeline

  • Communicates product features and benefits in person, via phone, email, and in virtual format.

  • Develop strategic and tactical sales plans to deliver against key objectives by product segment.

  • Drives profitable sales and revenue growth through the implementation of empty bottles, water dispenser sales, bottle racks, case product etc. and retention strategies.

  • The position may be home based or work from an assigned branch location in the assigned territory and requires to be in trade 4 out of 5 days a week. Travel may be required out of state to support sales and promotional initiatives

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • A college degree is preferred with a business-related area of concentration. College degree may be substituted with minimum 2-4 years job experience in a consumer products or vending environment performing sales-oriented functions, including multi-channel experience, grocery, drug, convenience store and mass merchandising.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with both internal and external customers; bi-lingual capabilities may be desirable for targeted territory.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, including data analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.

  • Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint and CRM tools

  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
