Job Description

• Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Field Technician and play a pivotal role in monitoring environmental parameters.

• You will oversee the installation of flow and level monitors within sewer lines, as well as rainfall monitoring equipment.

• Your responsibilities will include calibrating flow monitors, collecting and reviewing sewer flow, level, and rainfall data.

• Additionally, you will maintain accurate, legible, and organized records following all company quality instructions.

• This position offers the opportunity to shadow an experienced professional with over 30 years in the industry, who is approaching retirement, providing a unique learning opportunity and potential for career progression.

Work Environment

• This role requires a schedule of Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days, typically from 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime pay available.

• The position involves traveling 50%-60% of the time around Utica, Syracuse, Onondaga, and surrounding areas.

• A company truck will be provided for travel purposes.

• You will work alongside another Environmental Specialist and report directly to a manager.

• The office is located in Utica, NY. A daily per diem of $45 is provided when traveling, and hotel expenses can be expensed.
