Admissions Coordinator - Full Time - Days

Department: NURSING EDUCATION AD

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Enrollment Manager/Financial Aid Director, the Admissions Coordinator provides support in the areas of admissions, marketing, recruitment, and financial aid for the College of Nursing.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Disseminate general information, College program publications, and details of College activities to the general public

  • Maintain accurate and complete student information databases

  • Assist in the coordination of the in processing of candidates through the enrollment cycle

  • Create and maintain file folders and collect content for college applications, in process readiness/review

  • Monitors the disposition of SONIS checklists

  • Participate in recruitment activities, i.e. college nights, open house events, health career programs, and on-campus recruitment.

  • Assists in the planning and implementation of on-campus and off-campus career programs, in collaboration with the Enrollment Manager.

  • Complete transfer registration in SONIS validating transfer credit from other institutions for recently admitted or current students

  • Serve as liaison between SECON and Quadsimia with responsibility for maintaining the currency and accuracy of College website updates.

  • Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA.

  • Maintain and files appropriate content for student education and financial aid records, per College policy and procedure.

  • Post payments for application, matriculation, and transcript requests timely and accurately

  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of office experience preferable in an academic or healthcare setting

  • Computer proficiency required with various programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or college student information systems.

  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative teamwork.

  • Well organized and self-directed

  • Ability to travel to offsite locations

PREFERRED:

  • Current/recent experience in enrollment management
