System One Dimensional Inspector in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Dimensional Inspector (PMI & Hardness Testing)

Location: Turtle Creek, PA

Job Type: Contract (3-6 months)

Start Date: Immediate

Per Diem: $200/day (7 days per week)

Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled Dimensional Inspectors with experience in Positive Material Identification (PMI) and Hardness Testing to support a critical project in Turtle Creek, PA. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with stringent industry and quality standards, particularly in high-precision and nuclear environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other metrology tools.

  • Conduct Positive Material Identification (PMI) to verify alloy composition and ensure material traceability.

  • Perform hardness testing to assess material properties and compliance with engineering requirements.

  • Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles when reviewing complex blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain quality integrity.

  • Ensure adherence to nuclear safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in dimensional inspection, PMI, and hardness testing.

  • Strong proficiency in using precision hand tools and measuring equipment.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.

  • Experience in nuclear, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and problem-solving ability.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strict quality requirements.

    Additional Details:

  • This is a contract position with a duration of 3-6 months.

  • Competitive per diem of $200/day for 7 days per week.

  • Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
