Russell Sage College Assistant Professor of the Practice or Lecturer of Nursing in Troy, New York

Candidates may apply for a full or half-time (50% FTE) Assistant Professor of Nursing Practice position for the Baccalaureate Faculty Position with a Doctorate preferred and/or Lecturer in Nursing with a Master's Degree in Nursing. The estimated base academic year salary range for this position will be based on the level offered and commensurate with experience.

Russell Sage College's Department of Nursing is a well-established program with over 600 students and a rich 101-year history of excellence and innovation in nursing. Nursing programs of study are offered at the Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral levels.

Job Requirements:

Preference will be given to candidates for Baccalaureate Nursing Faculty with

  • A current Doctorate in Nursing degree or MS Degree in Nursing;

  • Hybrid or Online Graduate teaching experience and;

  • Current NYS RN nursing license.

Other preferred experiences include current online or web-enhanced teaching, curriculum development, research experience, and leadership in advancing healthcare and/or community service.
