As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive business analysis support to our customers, particularly on small to medium projects.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our team at CAI for 6-month+ contract opportunity that is hybrid in Trenton, NJ . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive business analysis support to our customers, particularly on small to medium projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives

  • Conduct thorough business process analysis and identify areas for improvement or optimization

  • Develop detailed business analysis documentation, including business requirements documents

  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure a clear understanding of requirements

  • Assist in the prioritization of project deliverables and features, providing recommendations based on business impact

  • Maintain a current understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst

  • Ability to review, analyze, and document business practices and processes in a standard format

  • Experience in drafting business requirements, use cases, user stories, and workflows using industry wide formats and software programs

  • Understanding risk analysis and the ability to relate risk to project scope

  • Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders and partners

  • Must be well organize with a keen eye for attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Experience with asset management software

  • Experience with COTS products

  • Infrastructure/facility background

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
