Aggreko Financial Accounting Intern in Trenton, New Jersey
At Aggreko Energy Transition Solutions (AETS), we help communities and companies decarbonize. We develop and operate reliable and economical clean energy infrastructure across the US, including utility-scale and distributed solar and battery storage projects. We are hiring a Financial Accounting Intern - to gain firsthand experience in solar and battery storage engineering. Interns will work on project design, grid interconnection, and energy transition solutions alongside industry experts. This opportunity provides real-world experience in renewable energy, helping develop the next generation of professionals while contributing to innovative clean energy projects that drive sustainable power solutions .

What you will do:
Based in Trenton, NJ , you will assist in preparing financial statements, and reports for multiple renewable energy projects
Assist with financial close processes, timelines, and account reconciliations specific to renewable energy developers and independent power producers
Perform data entry and intercompany accounting using Sage Intacct ERP
Assist with AP and AR reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy
Support reconciliation of bank transactions and intercompany accounts, including Aggreko ETS Energy Systems in Project accounts
Complete a monthly reconciliation of one of A ETS ’s high profile accounts and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting approach and key insights
We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience:
Active ly pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting preferred)
Demonstrates enthusiasm for energy transition and sustainability, backed by a solid academic record (GPA)
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to evaluate data, create reports, and present technical insights effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and passion for Energy transition
