We are hiring a Financial Accounting Intern - to gain firsthand experience in solar and battery storage engineering. Interns will work on project design, grid interconnection, and energy transition solutions alongside industry experts. This opportunity provides real-world experience in renewable energy, helping develop the next generation of professionals while contributing to innovative clean energy projects that drive sustainable power solutions .

  What you will do:

• Based in Trenton, NJ , you will assist in preparing financial statements, and reports for multiple renewable energy projects

• Assist with financial close processes, timelines, and account reconciliations specific to renewable energy developers and independent power producers

• Perform data entry and intercompany accounting using Sage Intacct ERP

• Assist with AP and AR reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy

• Support reconciliation of bank transactions and intercompany accounts, including Aggreko ETS Energy Systems in Project accounts

• Complete a monthly reconciliation of one of A ETS ’s high profile accounts and present findings to senior leadership, highlighting approach and key insights

  We are experts, which means you will have the following skills and experience:

• Active ly pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting preferred)

• Demonstrates enthusiasm for energy transition and sustainability, backed by a solid academic record (GPA)

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to evaluate data, create reports, and present technical insights effectively

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and passion for Energy transition
