NJM Insurance Claims Information Service Representative in Trenton, New Jersey

NJM Insurance Group currently has an opening in our Workers’ Compensation Department for a Claims Information Service Representative who will play an important role in helping to make sure our customers have a positive experience working with us.

The Scheduled hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:45am to 5:00pm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer calls from internal and external customers using excellent customer service skills and provide accurate information.

  • Process incoming First reports of accident via telephone, email and fax accurately and expeditiously.

  • Providing excellent customer service to all callers by demonstrating professional courtesy, conveying empathy, and actively listening to all questions and concerns.

  • Assisting the caller with their inquiries in an accurate, efficient, and comprehensive manner while striving for first call resolution.

  • Screening all calls and deciding what can be handled at the CIS level and transfer calls when appropriate to the right personnel.

  • Accurately complete authorization requests, directing them to the appropriate personnel.

  • Complete callbacks in a timely manner, documenting calls and results in computer correspondence.

  • Navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously to access and document appropriate information.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Accuracy and the ability to pay close attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service and phone manners

  • Data entry skills

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software programs including Outlook and Word

Salary: $38,000 - 45,000 annually. Salary is commensurate with experience and credentials.
