Singer Strategic Accounts Sales Executive in Tonawanda, New York

Overview

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Strategic Account Sales Executive is responsible for achieving company sales growth objectives (budgeted top-line and gross profit margin) by creating and maintaining new long-term relationships with elevated customers in which resources are focused based upon the development of deep and long-term mutually beneficial business partnerships. These “Strategic Account,” defined as a large, complex account require ongoing contact, research, assessment and engagement to drive value through the identification of challenges and pain points and leveraging the partnership to offer creative solutions to move both organizations along the path to their strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully achieve & sustain agreed upon customerKeyPerformanceIndicators (Add)

  • Responsible for achieving company sales growth objectives through the development and execution of an action plan for the identification and integration of new partnerships

  • Work collaboratively with other enterprise sales functions/divisions to leverage and maximize sales potential with respective account base

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available resources, products, policy and pricing structures

  • Professionally engage with cross functional leadership to ensure that issues are resolved quickly andefficiently ensuring that commitments are met on time

  • Maintain a high level of communication (internal and external) regarding activity and accountstatus/development initiatives. Maintain accurate and timely account records

  • Serve as primary customer contact for assigned sales/account base. Promote and demonstrateproductive and positive customer relationships by ensuring friendly, professional, knowledgeable andresponsive customer support (lead by example)

  • Engage in ongoing product and process training as those opportunities become available

  • Engage in activities to ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved, while maintaining company objectives for success

  • Build relationships and increase Company visibility through participation in Company-sponsored activities, trade shows, and other similar activities where applicable

  • Responsible for coordinating their own schedules, travel and budget

  • Perform additional duties that may be assigned as necessitated by business demands

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline, and/or 3-5 years of restaurant equipment sales work experience

Competencies: Excellent verbal & written communication skills, proven selling ability to develop new opportunities, problem solving and critical thinking, negotiation skills, energetic, positive attitude, ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive behavior, ability to work independently, or with others in a team environment, detail-oriented, time and resource management skills, organizational and follow through skills

Other Requirements: Computer and software proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, CRM), valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Must be able to sit up to 90% of the time to perform various job-related tasks

  • Must be able to walk, move or traverse throughout the area of assignment to perform various job-related tasks

  • Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office and hand-held industrial equipment

  • Must be able to inspect all equipment to ensure they are in good working condition prior to use

  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs to perform various job-related tasks, if necessary

  • Must be able to position self to stand, move, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

    TRAVEL

    Hybrid Position.

    Up to 25% travel (Trade Shows, Factory Trainings, Customer Site Visits & Singer Corporate Events)
