Purpose: The Associate Director, Forecasting & Analytics position is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action. This highly visible position will partner closely with senior brand stakeholders for OPSYNVI®, OPSUMIT® and UPTRAVI®, serving as a trusted advisor for informing demand forecast, attainment, performance, market dynamics, and evaluation of business strategies, and as a result, shares accountability for business results.
This individual must have outstanding leadership skills, a consistent track record to lead collaboration across teams, inspire without authority, and encourage sensible risk-taking; pursuing novel solutions and identify insights that address the needs of patients. They will be personally accountable for making Johnson & Johnson Credo-based decisions and encouraging a Credo-based culture.
You will be responsible for:
Forecast modeling, tracking, identification of risks & opportunities, and shaping articulation of performance story to senior leadership
Proactively identify enhancements to forecast modeling, process improvements/efficiencies, new data sources, and leading indicators that will increase accuracy and maximize time spent on high value projects
Facilitate Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and alignment across brand stakeholders to deliver latest thinking forecasts to business
Oversee PAH market forecasting and diagnostics using secondary & syndicated datasets in partnership with cross functional team members to ensure consistency in messaging and supporting insights
Embed insights from Strategic Insights & Analytics peers (integrated analytics, market research, competitive intelligence) into forecasting cycles to enhance decision making
Apply basic consulting skills, including consultative listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation through storytelling for impact
Serve as a leader in integrating data and analytics (national, subnational, patient claims) with cross functional findings and insights developed by peers across the Strategic Insights & Analytics team for the Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension portfolio
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
At least 7 years of relevant business experience in forecasting, analytics, finance, market research, competitive intelligence, or consulting, of which at least 4 years must be forecasting and/or finance
Working knowledge of foundational pharmaceutical industry datasets (e.g. IQVIA DDD, EDI 852/867, NPA, NSP, Claims, Specialty Pharmacy Data etc.) and their practical applications to forecasting and brand performance analytics
Fluency in storytelling and developing effective presentations through compelling visualizations of data with comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions
Demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, anticipate and proactively address forecast pain points, and influence stakeholders towards resolution
High degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and striking the right balance between analytical rigor with speed to decision making
Preferred:
Rare disease experience
Experience working on or directly with pharmaceutical brand marketing/sales teams
Working knowledge of patient claims and regimen analytics
This position is based in Titusville, NJ in accordance with the J&J flex hybrid schedule and will require up to 5% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$120,000 to $207,000
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
