Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Principal Pathologist in Tarrytown, New York

The Principal Pathologist will participate in strategy development in Drug Safety and Pharmacometrics (DSP) through advocacy for Regeneron programs and projects. We expect the Pathologist to perform pathology peer review of Regeneron toxicology studies along with collaborating alongside research scientists in the discovery, characterization, and preclinical development of novel large molecule products targeting a variety of disease.

A Typical Day May Include:

  • Apply knowledge of toxicologic pathology to help design, develop, and implement research programs to support all facets of drug development.

  • Perform pathology peer review of REGN toxicology studies at CROs.

  • Participate on teams devoted to developing predictive and prognostic biomarkers in assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Collaborate and lead in developing a strong in-house digital pathology program.

  • Deliver occasional seminars on scientific contributions made on regulatory and discovery studies.

  • Draft, finalize, and/or review publications (manuscripts and/or abstracts for posters or oral presentations).

To be considered for this opportunity , we are looking for a board-certified veterinary pathologist (DVM plus DACVP/DECVP). Having a Ph.D. and/or CRO experience is a plus, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Salary Range (annually)

$145,400.00 - $237,200.00
