Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Associate Manager - Program Management (Genetic Medicines) in Tarrytown, New York

We are seeking an Associate Manager to join the Regeneron Genetic Medicines - Program Management team to provide operational guidance and drive key deliverables for cross-functional biology and technology development teams focused on immunogenicity, enzyme replacement therapeutics, and novel viral gene therapy platforms. You will merge their scientific expertise in areas of immunology and gene therapy with program management knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical industry to support the coordination, execution, and communication of critical cross-functional activities required to drive and expand our genetic medicines portfolio.

As an Associate Manager, a typical day may include:

  • Driving & tracking management of projects, identifying/resolving critical gaps and issues, and promoting collaborative scientific information exchange

  • Being the primary point of contact for management regarding progress of project / program goals and ensuring effective and timely program-related communication across functional areas

  • Corresponding with internal and external partners to develop & implement research plans, identify knowledge gaps, address challenges, and communicate progress

  • Providing guidance and scientific/technical mentorship to project teams or other fellow team members for assigned programs

  • Creating & developing new processes and gaining alignment on process improvement solutions

  • Acquiring technical expertise in and managing existing systems and tools related to supporting tasks, projects, and programs relevant to research programs

  • Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members & stakeholders with tact and diplomacy

  • Can proactively identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies for general problem-solving within the department

In order to be considered for this role , you must have at least a BS/MS degree in a related field and 7+ years relevant experience. A Ph.D. in a related field and 0-2 years of relevant experience will also be considered. Experience with immunology, virology, or gene therapy preferred. We are looking for someone with basic knowledge of project management techniques and concepts as they apply to the drug development / pharmaceutical industry. Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities with excellent time management skills.

Salary Range (annually)

$94,800.00 - $154,600.00
