Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Department: First Aid and Medical Services

Reports to: Medical and Emergency Services Manager

How I can Create Guests for Life:

  • Smile!
  • Provide medical aid to injured or ill guests as necessary at Camelback Mountain Resort.
  • Always provide a high level of medical care for all guests.
  • Attend all necessary continuing education and refresher in a timely manner.
  • Complete records of patient care using the 1Risk program.
  • Comply with protocols and procedures related to Resort Operations, State Guidelines and National Ski Patrol guidelines.
  • Respond to all calls for assistance throughout the resort.
  • Inventory, maintain, and stock supplies for thorough levels throughout the resort for emergency preparedness.
  • Assist with daily setup and tear down of the ski mountain (fences, signage, etc.). Check and monitor resort conditions for safety. While performing routine duties, assess and report any safety concerns.
  • Maintain medical and rescue equipment.

Is this the job for me:

  • Leadership, problem solving, organizational and communication skills required.
  • Pennsylvania/National EMT-B or greater.
  • Able to work well with others (required).
  • Strong customer service skills (required).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or Basic Life Support certification (required).
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
  • Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
