ABOUT THE POSITION:CCSI is contracted to provide program management services, including specialized staffing. The Program Supervisor provides supervision and management of 10-14 Specialists within the Family Support for Student Success Program. This position functions within the Division of School Based Initiatives (SBI) in partnership with the Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services and local school districts.

In this role, you will be

  • Supervising and manage 10-14 staff: support personnel and address staff development issues.

  • Facilitating team meetings regularly both in person and via digital meeting platforms with a focus on development, communication, and support.

  • Supporting the onboarding and orientation of new staff, facilitating their relationships with schools, monitoring implementation of interventions and support activities, and providing ongoing development, training, and support.

  • Maintaining active communication with schools through in person meetings, frequent outreach, and prompt responsiveness.

  • Collaborating with the local school districts and Onondaga County to ensure that service expectations are being met.

  • Completing necessary incident, compliance, and other written reports in a timely manner.

  • Assessing staff work performance and needs, implementing and progress monitoring development plans when needed to ensure quality service delivery.

  • Supporting accountability of program outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting integration of staff and services into a school’sMulti-Tiered System of Support (https://www.pbisrewards.com/blog/what-is-mtss/) .

  • Providing direct support within the community and program as needed.

  • Participating actively in weekly or bi-weekly supervision, team case conferences, staff meetings, professional and in-service training sessions, and mandatory agency event.

  • Providing professional coaching relevant to program and general school setting.

  • Monitoring and review tracking documentation, reports, and student progress within databases and in the program.

  • Identifying and report on Untoward Incidents as required.

  • Building consensus among diverse groups, be culturally responsive in dealings with people, and respond positively to changing circumstances.

  • Upholding and supporting program and agency standards in a trauma Informed, culturally responsive way.

  • Conducting other duties as assigned.

ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS:The Family Support for Student Success Program serves a few school districts within Onondaga County. As an integrated support program serving youth and families in multiple schools and districts, candidates must:

  • Possess valid Class D New York State Driver License and have access to motor vehicle insured with at least $300,000 liability coverage to meet transportation requirements of position. This position requires travel to meetings with schools, home visits, trainings and partnering organizations across the geographic region of Onondaga County and will have access to mileage compensation.

  • Satisfactorily complete required background screenings: criminal, Statewide Central Register, New York State Education Fingerprint clearance, and NYS Department of Motor Vehicles.

  • May need to work in the evening and on occasional weekends.

Staff working directly with protected health information /electronically stored protected health information, personally identifiable information, and other patient/consumer/customer data, will abide by the specific procedures and policies outlined by CCSI’s Code of Conduct and CCSI’s Privacy and Security Policies, New York State regulations and Federal regulations. Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • MSW/MA in human services preferred, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) ).

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or 5+ years of work experience in the fields of human services, social services, or education.

  • Experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health and/or school systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with theMulti-Tiered System of Support (https://www.pbisrewards.com/blog/what-is-mtss/) and evidence-based practices such as Collaborative Problem-Solving and Restorative Justice preferred.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: A qualified candidate will demonstrate competencies in:

  • A working knowledge of MS Office Suite operations, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as be proficient in data entry and have live database experience.

  • Detail oriented; accuracy and consistency in all work.

  • Demonstration of positive interpersonal, strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership skills as evidenced by previous job experience.

  • Effectively prioritize workload and responsive to emerging program needs.

  • Experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, and/or mental health partnerships with schools, preferred.

  • Familiarity with the multi-tiered system of support and evidence-based practices such as Collaborative Problem Solving, and Restorative Justice preferred.
