Metal Building Foreman The Metal Building Assembler Foreman plays a key role in the construction and installation of premanufactured metal building systems. The Foreman will lead the Metal Building Team in all aspects of assembling, erecting, and installing structural components, accessories, and covering systems, ensuring the successful and efficient construction of metal buildings. Essential Duties: Oversee the assembly and installation of steel structural components, sheet metal wall and roof panels, building sheet metal trim, and insulating materials, following project specifications and blueprints. Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to understand project requirements and timelines. Develop work schedules and coordinate metalwork activities in alignment with project milestones. Lead and manage a team of metalworkers, welders, and other craftsmen. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that metalwork meets industry standards and project specifications. Address any issues related to quality and work with the team to implement corrective actions. Enforce and promote a culture of safety on the construction site. Ensure that all metalwork activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines. Ensure materials are ordered and available on job site when needed. Manage inventory and oversee the proper storage and handling of metal materials. Maintain effective communication with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and team members. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Demonstrate a productive, organized work attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Demonstrate proficiency in operating equipment of the trade such as Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts and Rough Terrain Telehandlers Position Requirements 10-15 years of experience in commercial metalwork construction management Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and coordinate a crew. Familiarity with rigging and metal building assembly/erecting principles and techniques. Ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications. Acute safety awareness with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Flexibility to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required. Commitment to maintaining and promoting a quality-conscious work ethic
