We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). In this role, you will assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in managing nursing operations and ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.

Requirements:

· Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Long-Term Care setting.

· At least 2 years of management experience preferred.

· A minimum of 1 year of experience in staff education preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proven leadership skills and ability to supervise nursing staff effectively.

· Flexibility to work various hours and adapt to dynamic needs of the facility.

Pay Range: $120,000 per year

Duties Include:

· Assist the DNS in overseeing nursing staff and maintaining quality care standards.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facilitate effective communication across all nursing levels.

· Coordinate and direct the overall planning and delivery of nursing services.

· Oversee the accurate and timely completion of medical records.

· Implement infection control protocols and practices.

· Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds to monitor and address resident needs.

· Adapt to changing schedules and address unforeseen nursing needs as they arise.
