SUNY Upstate Medical University Clinical Assistant Professor in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

Responsibilities in addition to the description of Faculty in the Faculty Handbook. Teaching-Teaching core, specialty and/or related courses for the College of Nursing each semester. Scholarship-Participates in scholarly activities; Service-Participates in appropriate professional, college and university organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered RN or eligible required. Master's degree in nursing from an institution of higher education accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Experience in clinical or didactic instruction. Ability and skills to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, students, and others required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate or current doctoral candidate with faculty experience preferred. Working knowledge of simulation, curriculum design and implementation preferred. Experience in clinical or didactic instruction preferred.

Work Days:

Varies based upon the needs of the College
