Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Responsible for chair side assistance; preparation of patient for treatment; maintaining instrumentation flow; OSHA regulations and patient flow.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of Certified Dental Assisting training, with NY State licensure required. At least one year of experience. BLS Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual preferred.

Ambulatory – 95%

Subject to stress and Fatigue
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when working with patients and equipment.

Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range

Pay Range:
Registered Dental Assistant ( NYS Licensed) – $20.90 – $21.95 per hour
Dental Assistant – $19.00 – $19.95 per hour
