Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Lock Haven, PA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: $25 - 35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and experienced journeyman electricians to join our team in Lock Haven, PA. This role involves a mixture of work throughout local industrial facilities and occasional travel to State College for projects at Penn State University. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial settings, with a strong experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Perform electrical testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues

• Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems, including motors, transformers, and control systems

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of electrical experience

• Ability to work in commercial and industrial settings

• Blueprint reading and PLC troubleshooting

• Experience with automated equipment, motor control, conduit bending, and arc flash

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification is required prior to starting the job, but candidates can obtain it during the hiring process

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
