The Dean of the DePerro School of Health Professions (DSHP) is a senior academic leader responsible for providing academic and strategic leadership; developing and articulating a comprehensive vision and a clear mission; fostering innovative practices; advocating for faculty, staff, and students; leading accreditation processes; and ensuring a rich and vibrant future.

The public salary range is $165,000-175,000.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an earned doctorate from an accredited institution and qualify for an appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of inclusive and innovative leadership in one or more fields of health professions education. An understanding of national and regional (especially rural) trends in healthcare and healthcare education is required. Candidates must support the University’s Franciscan mission, especially its commitment to diversity and a compassionate approach to education and healthcare.
